Every domestic order dispatched by House of Peptides is sent via USPS Priority Mail with verifiable tracking and up to $100 built-in carrier insurance protecting against physical loss or damage while in postal transit.

1. All Sales Final (Integrity of Research Compounds)

Due to the temperature-sensitive, strictly sterile, and specialized nature of research-grade lyophilized peptides, all sales through House of Peptides (HOP) are final. Because laboratory compounds require strict storage conditions and an unbroken chain of custody, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or reshipments once products leave our fulfillment facility.

2. Carrier Logistics & Transfer of Custody

Once an order is verified, packaged, and handed over to the United States Postal Service (USPS Priority Mail), physical transit is in the custody of third-party logistics:

• Verifiable Tracking: Customers receive a USPS tracking number via email upon dispatch.
• $100 Carrier Insurance: Standard USPS Priority Mail shipments include up to $100 in insurance provided directly by USPS.
• Official Delivery Scan: The carrier’s timestamped "Delivered" scan serves as official verification of successful fulfillment and delivery to the destination address.

3. Stolen Packages (Porch Piracy) & Misplaced Deliveries

House of Peptides is not financially liable or responsible for packages that have been scanned and confirmed as "Delivered" by USPS to the address provided at checkout, but are subsequently stolen, misplaced, or intercepted (including porch theft, apartment mailroom mix-ups, or neighbor delivery errors).

If tracking shows "Delivered" but you cannot locate your package:

1. Check surrounding entry points, mail lockers, neighbors, and with household members.
2. Contact your local USPS post office branch immediately with your tracking number — carriers can pull the exact GPS scan coordinates where the parcel was scanned.
3. If theft is suspected, file a mail theft report with the USPS Postal Inspection Service and local law enforcement.

4. Lost or Damaged in Transit ($100 Insurance Claims)

If a package stops tracking and is officially declared lost in transit by USPS prior to delivery, or arrives physically compromised:

• USPS Insurance Claim: The package is covered by USPS's built-in $100 insurance. A claim can be filed directly with USPS.
• HOP Documentation Support: House of Peptides will provide official dispatch receipts, postage documentation, and proof of value to facilitate your claim with USPS.
• Damaged Compounds: If vials arrive physically broken or shattered, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damaged packaging and vial lot labels so our team can evaluate the issue.

5. Accurate Shipping Address Requirement

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is complete and accurate (including apartment, suite, or unit numbers). House of Peptides is not responsible for shipments delivered to incorrect or outdated addresses supplied by the purchaser.
